Pretty & Sick

Hello, my name is Elisa, and I started this blog as a collection of things I am doing and products I love. I have a background in Fashion and I even have a swimwear line for women called Bunz In The Sun Bikinis. I am also a Professional Life Coach. I have many passions, and among fashion, and helping people, I am doing my best to spread awareness for Lupus and Pulmonary Hypertension. I have both of these illnesses, and over the past few years since my diagnosis I have learned to live my life with them. When I was faced with these illnesses, I quickly started to evaluate what was important in my life, and this blog is something I hope will be fun, entertaining, inspirational, and possibly educational.

I chose the name Pretty & Sick because I have two illnesses that are “invisible,” on the outside I look like a healthy 28 year old. On the inside my immune system is attacking me! I am also a bit of a Ke$ha fan, and in her song Blow, is one of my favorite lines, “We’re pretty and sick, we’re young and we’re bored!” I mean, it spoke to me because I left my job two years ago to follow my passion, and to do it my own way; I want to be my own boss. Along the way, I have had moments of boredom, but those moments have led to many of my creative ideas.

If you have any questions or comments please contact me, I don’t know it all, but I like helping. If you have fashion questions, ask me, I give honest opinions.
